Hey there! My name is Emily, I’m from Australia, and I’m exploring abroad for the next year or so. I’ve just finished walking 3000 kilometres across France along the HexaTrek and am now exploring beautiful Morocco.

I absolutely love trying new things and getting to know different places and people. My list of hobbies is way too long - ranging from meditation, reading, and painting, to gardening, hiking, learning languages, and more.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think couchsurfing is an incredible way to get to know people and places. I want to connect and feel like I’ve really visited somewhere - not just speak with other tourists at an isolated hostel.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2023 I spent six months walking from Mexico to Canada along the Pacific Crest Trail. It was preeetty incredible.

Teach, Learn, Share

I speak okay French and am always wanting to improve. I speak fantastic Aussie English and can teach you some slang for sure ;)

I’m down to learn anything and everything. If you have something you’re passionate about, I’d love to find out more about it.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I’m down to hang out if you are, but I’m also genuinely happy to do my own thing if you’re busy or not in the mood. If you want to head to a bar, see some music, go for a stroll, or just chill at home, I’m pretty flexible.

I also cook some pretty incredible pancakes (if I do say so myself) and many a plant-based dish 🥦

If you need a hand around the house with cleaning, gardening, or whatever, I’m also happy to lend a hand.
