Overview
About Me
I was born and raised in Boston, but have lived in New York City for the last 5 years. I received my B.S. in Media, Culture, and Communications from NYU last year. I'm working freelance by producing short videos and documentaries and doing some photography. I'd like to build my future career by crossing a love for digital media and performing arts, with an interest in cross-cultural communication, and cultural anthropology in the tourism industry. I think there are incredible opportunities to travel while also honoring local communities, culture, and development!
I'm also a dancer and have been nearly my whole life so dance and music both in a social and professional setting are incredibly important and fascinating to me. It has translated into my other career in life - teaching fitness, barre, and yoga!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
At the suggestion of a good friend of mine, I decided to look into Couchsurfing instead of hostels and hotels!
Right now I am still living with roommates with limited accommodations in NYC - but when I have my own secure place to house others, I'll be sure to pay it forward to the Couchsurfing community!

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to all kinds of music (especially as a dancer)!!
Some of my favorite artists are Dermot Kennedy, George Ezra, Oh Wonder, Lorde, Rainbow Kitten Surprise, Alvaro Soler, Years & Years, Bleachers, and guilty pleasure Taylor Swift...
I've seen How I Met Your Mother completely probably 10+ times and frequently watch the Great British Baking Show. Favorite movies include Intouchables, Brooklyn, It's A Wonderful Life, and Ladybird!
I love a good non-fiction read - like Malcolm Gladwell's books!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was living in Havana, my boyfriend and I traveled across the island of Cuba on a 24 hour trip that involved two tour buses, two bici-taxis, a horse cart, a truck with only one narrow metal bench in the back, and an hour long walk -- just to get to the small oceanside town, Nícaro!
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd love to teach you anything I know about the places I've been, and likewise, I'd love to learn about your adventures!
We can do a Yoga/Pilates/Dance class in your living room too :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
Anything I can offer, I will gladly try my best to give. Maybe I can take some portrait photos for ya! Or I'll bring some chocolate to share :)
