I'm currently studying part-time for an MA in Art History in York, but before that I graduated with a Classics degree in my beautiful home town Durham. Alongside this I work at the National Railway Museum.

Music:
A variety of genres from Electronic (Caribou, Grimes, Toro Y Moi), old school Jazz (Chet Baker, Billie Holiday), Alternative Rock (White Stripes, Beck, Black Keys), to my guilty obsession with sad indie pop (The Smiths, The National). I'm always on the look out for new music so I'd love you to make recommendations!

Movies:
Mysteries, coming of age, romances and anything beautifully shot. My favourite film is Before Sunrise because of the fantastic dialogue.

Books:
I read a lot! I'd like to say that I enjoy thought provoking modern fiction best... but really I like melodrama and gothic novels.
