My name is Emily. I’m an American that’s been backpacking pretty consistently since November 2021. I started in South America and made my way north through most of Central America entirely by public buses and hitch hiking. Now I’m exploring Europe and visiting friends that I’ve met while traveling. I’m super chill in all ways and love to explore alone or with new friends. My main goal while I travel is to learn from the locals around me as much as I can while being respectful of their homes. I’m a little quiet at first but at the slightest provocation will show you my silly sarcastic side. I love cooking, movies, swimming, hiking and dogs and cats.

My favorite part of traveling is the connections I make along the way. You can only see so many beautiful cathedrals before it gets old! What makes traveling special is seeing a beautiful cathedral while standing next to a new friend holding ice cream cones and sharing weird stories from our lives and discovering the bizarre things that we have in common
