I grew up near San Jose, California where I lived for my whole childhood. I moved to Montreal, Canada for University.

I study Film and Cultural Studies and History in Montreal, and I am currently on a semester exchange in Copenhagen.

I like to travel slowly and take my time in new places. I am happy to site see and run all over the place to see as much as possible, but I am also content spending a quiet afternoon in a new city having coffee with friends or taking my time through an art museum. For me, the perfect travel experience is finding a balance.

I enjoy running yoga, watching movies and TV. I love making meals with friends and just hanging out, listening to music for hours.

I'm studying abroad for the semester in Denmark and it can be easy to lose yourself in a bubble of international students. I'm hoping CS helps me meet more locals, share experiences with like minded people, and make new friends from all over the world.

My favorite things always depend on my mood. For books, my favorite authors are Kurt Vonnegut, Elena Ferante, Chris Kraus, John Steinbeck, and Harumi Murakami. I love film and I appreciate everything from French New Wave to romantic comedies, but a few of my all time favorite films are Paris Texas, Dazed and Confused, the 400 Blows and anything Nora Ephron has ever directed. I like thinking about the ways film as art and film as pop culture merge, so I would love to chat about movies and hear your recommendations.

For music I have always opted for Indie rock and electronic. I'm currently enjoying revisiting Whitney Houston's greatest hits. I've also been listening to a lot of New Order, Angel Olsen, TOPS, Kendrick Lamar, Drake, How to Dress Well, Future, CHROMATICS, and Fleetwood Mac this past month. I also love pop music and I am happy to listen to Rihanna for hours on end.
