Music, Movies, and Books

I've listened to almost nothing but Finnish music for the past 12 months, since I'm trying to learn the language. I can sing along to so many Finnish songs even though I don't know what they are really saying.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to bake a few different breads or pastries. I cook all sorts of American cuisines from the American South, Midwest, and California. I can answer any questions you might have about the English language or American/Californian culture/history.

I am always curious about local flora, especially if you know the latin names! I'd like to practice a few Finnish phrases with native speakers, although I don't know many.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'd love to bake you a loaf of bread, a batch of buttermilk biscuits, a pizza from scratch, or a hot tray of chocolate chip cookies. No time to turn the oven on? No problem. I'll leave you a thoughtful doodle to commemorate our time together :)
