Hello!
I've made several life changes over the past couple of years alone. I quit my job as a school psychologist working in Chicago to start my own business as a holistic health coach. I then moved back home to the St Louis area to begin working on farms. This led me to my next move bringing me closer to my dream of farming in California, actually moving there!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Initially I joined couch surfing to meet people along my journey of moving to California and it was a great experience. I am looking again for hosts while I transition between jobs (resident farm hand).
All of the changes I've made over the past couple of years have led me to meet so many people that I never would have met if I hadn't made those bold moves. I would love to meet people along my journey to moving to CA; however, I also value alone time if that is what my host would prefer.

Interests

I am obviously interested in farming, as well as healthy eating, sustainable and natural living. I live with a very spiritual purpose, hence all of the life changes, and although I don't force the conversation, I love discussing and connecting with others about my new agey, hippie beliefs and theirs as well :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy folksy and bluegrass music best, especially if it's outdoor, but feel like I can listen to and enjoy most any music.
Same with movies, I don't watch them as much as I used to, but I tend to enjoy most any genre, especially comedy or good drama.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Picking up and moving on my own to Chicago really shifted my direction in life. It was something that at the time I never thought I could or would do, but it's set the stage for me facing fears, taking risks on myself, and embracing a path of growth I never dreamed of.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm assuming most hosts have also made bold moves in their lives, but people who know me or just meet me often say they are inspired by hearing about how I live my life. I also am often told that I have a calm presence that makes people feel relaxed as well as like they can say anything. My friends usually say they feel like they had a great therapeutic release after just having a conversation with me.
