I'm a 20 year old student studying abroad in Madrid for a semester. So far it's been an incredible experience. I love learning about new cultures and exploring the city even though I'm a countryside girl at heart :)

I love hiking, being outside and anything to do with water. I'm excited to travel more especially since I've just put the top 100 sci fi and fantasy novels on my kindle so long journeys wont be an issue!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I really want to travel as much as I can and being a student I need to save money where ever possible but the reason I'm on couchsurfing is I love the idea of getting to go to another country and actually live like a local for a few days. I hope to meet some interesting people and learn more about other cultures. Most importantly I am looking forward to trying the food of everywhere I visit :)

Music I love so many different genres. I love rock, indie, folk and recently I've really been enjoying electro swing.

I love fantasy novels and I'm always reading, I'm a complete nerd really. I'm a gamer and have a minor addiction to netflix.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

When I was in Skiathos in Greece I went on a boat trip for the day. We went swimming in caves and found hidden beaches, followed by an incredible home cooked meal on the boat. On the way home we caught sight of a dolphin so we started following it. What started as one dolphin turned into about thirty all around the boat. We chased them for about half an hour and I have never seen anything like it. Considering it was the first time I'd seen a real dolphin to find such a big pod in the wild was just incredible.

Whenever I go to another country I always like to learn a few basic phrases as a part of experiencing the culture so I'm always open to learn!
