I'm and Aussie girl who has lived in rural and remote Queensland for most of my life. I'm currently taking 12 months off from my job as a Speech Therapist to see a bit of Europe, Africa, and Asia. I'm a fairly relaxed and flexible person and rarely say no to an opportunity to meet new and interesting people. Like most Aussies I love a good laugh, cold beer, and live music.

I enjoy hosting couchsurfers because it means that I meet people that I wouldn't have crossed paths with in my day to day life.

I've quit my job to travel the world for 6 months

One of my favourite things to do when I travel is to learn about a country or region by experiencing the local food. I love to cook and try new recipes (even if sometimes a meal doesn't work out!). I don't feel like I've fully experienced a country if I haven't shared a meal with a local.
