Myself (the brunette) and my best friend Zoe (the blonde) are 24-year-old Canadians who like food, wine, puppies (really all animals) and making new friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Myself and Zoe will be travelling around Europe between March and August of 2017. We plan to stay in hostels but are very interested in Couchsurfing both to reduce the expenses of our backpacking adventure and to get a real feel for local life in each place we visit. We expect that we'll meet lots of interesting people in the hostels we choose but we would really like to make friends with some locals and see what we should be doing with our time that's a little bit outside of what the typical tourist would do. We would be so happy to return the favour and host any of our hosts once we're back in Canada!

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC- We're both HUGE fans of 90's alt/punk/pop/rock (give us 90's music in general and we're thrilled). We're open to all music though!
TELEVISION- Game of Thrones, Orange is the New Black, Criminal Minds, Border Security, Don't Trust the B*tch in Apartment 23, many more!
MOVIES- Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, X-Men, Pirates of the Caribbean (apparently we love series' more than standalone movies!), and all Disney/Pixar movies. We share the same favourite movie- Super Troopers! We love watching Netflix in general.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Zoe split a year between volunteering in Mexico and giving inspirational speeches to high school students across Canada.
Emily is very good at chugging beer.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Zoe is a decent cook/baker and Emily spent a few years as a bartender. Together we could certainly prepare a lovely meal for our hosts! We're certain we have much more to offer- you need only ask!
