Informazioni generali
Chi sono
I am a forever student of the world and the lessons life presents to me. I am fascinated by humanity and culture. There is too little time in life to waste it on dreaming of tomorrow. I currently work in the US but live in Germany, thus splitting my time between both countries and fitting in travels to other countries in between. I adore learning new things in addition to immersing myself in the arts. I'm always up for an adventure. I believe that everyone has something to teach. I look forward to making friends from strangers.
Perché sono iscritto su Couchsurfing
I have made some amazing lifelong friends through couchsurfing and I'd love to make more. It has given me the gift of experiencing local living on many occasions. I have previously been a guest more than a host and am excited that I'm now in a place where I can host more often.
Interessi
Making music, dancing, hiking, reading and writing, and sharing meaningful conversations are my favorite things to do. I never go anywhere without a notebook and have been working on writing a book (mostly for fun), hopefully to one day publish. I'm currently learning to fly small planes in Germany and would love to meet and share conversations with other pilots around the world (especially women).

Musica, film e libri
Jazz in all forms is my weakness, but I enjoy most types of music. If there is live music, that's one of my favorite types of evenings out.
I’m constantly moving, which doesn’t leave much time for movies/tv, but I do enjoy a film that makes me think. Documentaries are my favorite.
I read anything I can get my hands on: particularly memoirs, mysteries, and adventure. Paulo Coelho is hands down one of my favorite authors.
Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto
My husband and I spent our honeymoon on a two week cruise to Antarctica. The vast-rawness and untouched beauty were mesmerizing. We walked with many penguins, sped on small zodiac boats amongst powerful glaciers, did a polar plunge and appreciated the world through a different lens. We even spent a few hours gliding through chunks of ice littered with resting seals in the Antarctic circle. It changed my life.
Insegna, impara, condividi
I have spent many years traveling and working in aviation. I would be happy to share any tips in regards to travel, especially surrounding the US and Germany. I also taught english at one point and would enjoy doing a language exchange for anyone wishing to work on their English. I would love to learn flying tips and practices from other private pilots.
Cosa posso offrire ai padroni di casa
My husband and I love hosting when we are in town. We live a short train ride from Munich's city center. We'd be more than happy to show people all the joys that Munich has to offer and share the best spots for a cold beer if time permits.
