A life in the arts means you work all the time, but the work is good. I teach children to love music. I make hats the old-fashioned way and teach others how to do so. I do love to travel, but mostly it's because I teach this or that, have a show here or there, or travel for my husband's band (pushingchain.com).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I got a grant from the state of Minnesota to travel to Ireland to learn advanced hat-making. That was pretty amazing for a number of reasons.
