About Me

When I graduated high school I decided to take a gap year. I spent 3 months traveling through the north of India volunteering, studying, exploring, and immersing myself into the amazing culture. India made me feel more like myself, more fulfilled, and the most excited about life that I have ever been. It is definitely the place that has changed and inspired me the most. After leaving India, I went to live in Peru in the Andes for 4 months volunteering with indigenous female weavers, helping empower them and lifting them out of poverty. It was incredible, but I am excited to be starting a new adventure and to be moving around again. I have recently arrived in Europe and want to continue traveling around the continent to see what it has to offer! As I am traveling solo I would love to meet people along the way and connect with others!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am Couchsurfing because I want to be able to connect with people wherever I travel and see the place through a local's perspective. I enjoy connecting with fellow travelers and people from different places more than anything. It is what makes traveling so amazing. I believe that the people make the place, and I have only heard amazing things about Couchsurfing so I wanted to try it!

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to all types of music! The only type of movies I don't like are horror. I enjoy reading, although I don't do it too often, and I read a wide variety of books. The most recent book I read that I really enjoyed was The Tibetan Book of Living and Dying. I read it while I was in India and it taught me a lot about how I view life and how I want to change what I am doing.
