Hey.

My name is Emily (or Ems), I returned three months ago from living and working in Botswana as a HIV/AIDS capacity Building Volunteer for the past 2+ years. I came home to surprise my family knowing very well that I would be leaving shortly thereafter. Now the time has come to pack my bags and leave for my next adventure! I would like to travel and wwoof/workaway/explore from Porto all the way down to Lagos! As, I am doing my best to just go with the flow as of now I'll be traveling through Portugal, Sweden, Ireland and possibly the UK.

It seems like the best way to be a traveller without being a tourist. It is an incredible platform to connect with people from different backgrounds and create friendships, and get an insider's perspective on someones home country. I LOVE traveling, as do all people on this forum and then we all know what it is like to travel across the world, or to a neighboring country where you may not know anyone and CS is that community that you never knew you needed!

Scuba diving with sharks.
Sky dived over the Namib desert.
Ran a 1/2 marathon in Zimbabwe.
Lived and worked in Botswana for 2 years.
