I am currently a marine biosciences master's candidate at the University of Delaware School of Marine Science and Policy in Lewes, DE. Obviously, I like the ocean (only a little bit :) I am new to official couchsurfing but love to embrace new opportunities and meet interesting people!

I think people who travel have amazing stories and worldviews to share. Spending time with locals, wherever you may be, is the best way to really learn about whatever place you are in. From my study and working abroad experiences, I was lucky enough to have a host family or mentor who opened so many doors for me that most tourists would never have the opportunity to experience. I want to have more of those experiences and to help others have those with me as well!
