Hi!

I'm Emily, a current Peace Corps Volunteer, serving with my husband, Ben, in Paraguay! I've always had the desire to live abroad, though I had only recently traveled for vacations. Ben and I quit our professional jobs to learn from new cultures, offer up our skills, and hope to have an adventure along the way. We're pretty passionate about craft breweries, social justice and great food. We're currently living in the interior of Paraguay. After our service ends in May of 2019, we're hoping to travel for a few months around South/Central America on our slow journey back home to the states.... or wherever we end up!

To meet new folks who are better guides than any tour book could ever be. I'd also like to offer that same experience to those who visit; we love showing folks around, especially when we're showing off our favorite restaurants or beers!

Algo increíble que he hecho

Ben and I won a trip to travel through Argentina & Chile for 10 days. We mountain biked to hidden waterfalls, befriended local brewers and white water rafted. Turns out speaking a *bit* more Spanish would have been useful for the rafting trip; our guides tried to guide us, but with our little Spanish abilities, we were always doing the opposite of the rest of the group. Hopefully now we'd be better compañeros.
