Hi! My name is Emily Zaal and I am 21 years old. I currently live in the Netherlands, but grew up in the USA. My mother is American and my dad is Dutch. This had lead to my being fluent in both languages. I love traveling and learning about different cultures. I find myself to be a very open minded person, who is up for just about anything. :)

In school I am studying Spanish as my major language. Being able to learn about the language and culture has made me want to visit Spain. That's why I am here!

Traveling around Spain would also be an option, but to really learn the language and culture I want to stay in one place and get to know certain people.

I love just about all types of music.. Music is an important part of my day and I could not go one day without listening to it.

One thing I'm very proud of is going to Haiti to help with the aftermath of the hurricane. We painted and fixed up houses, played with the children, and most importantly talked with individuals about their experiences. This trip definitely made me to be the person I am today!
