Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've already met so many kind and generous folks during my travels, and I hope I can spread that kindness and generosity to other people who may need it.

Most of my couchsurfing experience was when I studied abroad in Spain and traveled Europe during spring break. I stayed with a host in Zurich, Munich, and Athens, but I haven't had the pleasure of being a host yet.

My fiancee and I have also surfed together in Portland and hope to do more traveling this way around the country together.

NOTE: I am against using Couchsurfing as a dating or hookup website. I've had a few negative experiences with male couchsurfers before, which is why you'll see on my profile that I prefer to host females. If you are a MALE and you send me a Couch Request or a message I will not respond unless you include the word "ensalada" so that I know you read this and we share a mutual understanding.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seeing Las Meninas in El Prado in Madrid was unreal. Call me a nerd, but I was completely awestruck!
Also, I think that watching any sunrise on a pier over a lake is a beautiful sight. Every time.
