About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Explore the world!

ABOUT ME

I love to travel. I first became a fanatic when I went abroad to Turkey in 2011 with my school. We were there for about 3 weeks and I immediately fell in love with the culture. After getting back I knew I wanted to travel more. Since then I've been to London, Edinburgh and Paris. I studied in London for a month over the summer and then was lucky enough to be there during the Olympics!
I try to be adventurous when traveling and like to do things outside of the typical tourist sites. I'm also a huge fan of food and will try any specialty dish. I've tried haggis and escargots and enjoyed both!

PHILOSOPHY

Happiness shared is happiness multiplied

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just started and hope to meet people by staying with them during my trip!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm new to couch surfing but I have heard so many amazing things about it. I hope to learn more about the culture and social norms in the places I go and this is a great way to do it!

Music, Movies, and Books

Harry Potter
I love to read mystery books or adventure books too!
I loved the movie Pitch Perfect!
Just about any movie with Sandra Bullock
Loved the Avengers (basically any super hero movie!)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I got to be in London last year during the first days of the Olympics. I think it was amazing to see how everyone showed such pride in their country and I could tell by just looking at someone where they were from. It was exciting and an amazing experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like sharing American food. It's fun to see people's expressions when they try a new dish. Especially when someone hasn't had a rootbeer float
I want to learn more languages...so if you know one I don't I will probably try to learn some simple phrases during my time visiting!
