Hi I'm Emily! I'm a very easy going person. I love to travel and meet new people so couch surfing seemed like the perfect way to do both. I live in south LA county, am a graduate student in hydrology, and have a cat named Maverick :)

My heart and soul lies with country music but I love to listen to just about anything depending on my mood. Reading is a huge passion of mine, I just started the Game of Thrones series.

I just got back form a month long research trip in Oahu which was amazing. I got to meet like mined individuals from all over the US and am so happy to be able to call them my friends.

It's always a smart idea to bring a jacket with you when out at night in Southern California. Hot during the day but it can get a bit chilly.
Don't sweat the small stuff and live life as it comes at you.
