I am an aspiring circus performing, working on my craft of hula hooping, stilt walking and contortion/flexibility training. I also live in community with the SOLA Tribe. We are a music, dance and arts group hoping to travel the world sharing good vibes, uplifting message and amazing music. In the past I have been the silent observer, but presently am opening up, speaking more and learning how to live in community. In addition to this, I am a vegetarian, love to cook and try new food. I enjoy cleaning as well, love being outside and experiencing the elements. I feel at home at festivals and also enjoy crafting with crystals and macrame style knotting.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I'm not sure if this was awestruck, but it was certainly an awesome moment! Last summer, at the Winnipeg Folk Festival, Caracoal, a French artist, played an afternoon concert. As I do not speak fluent French, I was not understanding much of the set, but enjoyed the music nonetheless. After years of confusion and stress, I was able to experience my first brush with pure freedom. At the beginning of one of her songs, she introduced it in English. It was a song about women and empowerment. I felt so moved during the song and danced with complete abandon. I felt weight lifted from my body from the past years and nights-like a fresh start! Of course, the moment passed, and since then I have acquired new weight, but I have also acquired a fascination with freedom of the mind and spirit, and feel a quest in the near future to more fully experience this. The memory of this moment has certainly affected me in a positive way, bringing me hope and excitement for the future (for myself and others as well!)
Acts of community and love always leave me amazed as well. When people come together in the most negative atmosphere and make it positive with their energy, I am left awestruck, i suppose, as to the workings of love in this world.

I love gifting my hand made jewelry and plant hangers, I work with crystals and whatever earth elements present themselves to me. I can also cook vegetarian food and clean in the home. And if anyone is interested we can always work on some stretching and/or hula hooping!
