ABOUT ME

I'm 23 years old, from West Virginia (you know, Country Roads). Lived in Munich for 18 months working as an Au Pair. Took a 5 month "break" at home, worked in Athens Greece (against the advise of everyone I know) for 6 months… and then hitchhiked alone for about 2 months and an estimated 3,000 miles. I love people, the eccentric types that forge their own paths in this world. I find joy in the small things, a cup of coffee, a good hair-day, or a new book. When I get a "big girl" job, I want to be a spy.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate by being the dance partner (with little rythmn), the 'american' in the group of locals, by eating all the chips, by supporting the spontaneous ideas, and by striking up conversations with every freak I meet in the train.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hostels and Hotels are no longer in my vocabulary. Couchsurfing during my trip to Greece was the best decision I've made in a really long time. I've met people that I otherwise never would have crossed paths with.

兴趣

Riding my bike, drinking cocktails, writing, partying in Munich with my friends, reading, riding on the back of vespas, speaking German every single chance I get. and traveling, but that's obvious, since I'm here.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

i've fallen in love, i've had my heart broken, i've broken hearts. I've moved outside of my home country (twice), I've learned a foreign language. I've cried, i've smiled, i've cried and smiled at the same time. and for everything else there's mastercard.

I've also broken my head on a medieval tower in Munich, been beaten with a rose by a beggar in Athens, slept on a rooftop with a view of the Acropolis, and hitchhiked home in the dark in Bavaria- only to get picked up in a creepy van- which was packed full of teenage bavarian boys with tons of cases of beer, who then invited me to their house party.
