About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Getting out more.

ABOUT ME

I think my friends would say that I am deceptively well-put-together. They would tell you that I had a dark and embarrassing past prior to high school. They would tell you that I may or may not have grown out of it and may or may not still secretly collect rocks and minerals and watch Teen Titans.

I am a vegetarian and have been for about seven years now. I play Humans vs. Zombies! I like animals and biology (neuro, evolution, genetics) but have not yet decided what I want to do with my life. I will probably just go to school more and put off the real world of jobs as much as possible. I currently work part-time in a bio lab studying human genetics using a mouse model.

Interests

I enjoy museums, cartoons, doodling, sno-balls, high places, board games, and public transportation. I like looking at the pretty things that other people make and pretending like I can make pretty things, too. I spend a lot of time studying and a decent amount of time playing Minecraft.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am from New Orleans! Which makes me a Saints fan, even though I know absolutely nothing about football or care to. But one of the most amazing things I have experienced was the moment after we won the Super Bowl and my friends and I walked through the French Quarter, where every single person wearing black and gold was hugging each other and shouting. It made me get worked up about an idea that I didn't really care about before. It made me really like people.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can kind of play piano. I make a mean Hollandaise sauce and Eggs Benedict. I can crack your back. I can knit and crotchet. I can change a tire and I am /very/ good at parallel parking.

I would really love to learn how to throw knives. Or calligraphy (not throw it, learn how to do it).
