About Me
ABOUT ME/US
Hi there! I am a friendly, genuine, and thoughtful Canadian girl. Some of you may remember me from my couch surfing days in Europe 2015-2016... during this time I met my love, Aurelien! Aurelien has the greatest smile ever, adores doing dishes, and knows all latin names of all plants and how to care for them.
CURRENT MISSION
Connection. I am travelling with my partner, Aurelien. We live and work in Vancouver, Canada, where our days are busy and often a bit crazy. For us, travel is a way to slow down and connect with the people, culture, art, and food around us. We draw. We read. We stay out too late. We learn new recipes. We try new kinds of beer. We talk to old people at the bus stop. We dance wildly. We surf terribly (yet joyfully). Just taking it all in and enjoying every minute!
PHILOSOPHY
"Perfection is not a polished thing. It is often simply something that is sincerely meant."
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We are very respectful and clean house guests and have had really positive experiences couchsurfing in Europe and North America. We are chill and flexible, but also thoughtful and fun.
Emily shows her love and appreciation through food, so expect a home cooked meal or a treat from our travels if you welcome us into your home!
Aurelien shares his love and appreciation through art and the natural world. He will nurse your plants back to health and maybe even draw you a picture during our stay!
