ABOUT ME

I love horses (I have one, and he is my baby), cooking, gardening, hiking, running, laying in the sun....

and I am a bit of a workaholic/career student who has less time to travel than she would like, but I hope to meet interesting people when their travels bring them here.

I am not so much of a partier these days, but I do go out from time to time. I'm energetic and goofy at times, though I may seem serious when you are first getting to know me.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to enjoy everything in life... happiness is something that is always deserved.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well, I have a spare room with a daybed, on which you are welcome to crash. Clean sheets (though there is a bit of paint on one, because I was careless when I recently painted the room... oops).

There is also a comfy couch in my living room, so I could possibly accommodate two people.

Depending on my schedule, I may or may not be able to show you around the area. I know several good hiking trails in the area if that is of interest, and I know the local restaurant/food scene like the back of my hand. I love coffee, and promise to make share my pot in the morning.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent a month in Europe last year... it was the first time I have been overseas, and it opened my eyes to the world around me in a remarkable way. I cannot wait until I have time to travel again.
