ABOUT ME

I graduated from the most fun college in the South- LSU. Right now I am taking a year off before law school to teach English to little French kids in France. I love it so far! I am determined to take advantage of my time in Europe and travel as much as possible. I feel that seeing the world opens your eyes to so many differnt cultures and helps you appreciate more in life. I love to meet new people and see new places. Having fun is a huge priority- I love metting to know people over a fun drinking game and going out. I appreciate the little things in life, and I feel blessed to have this opportunity to travel around Europe while I am still young.
I love my hometown and state- and I try and bring a little bit of our culture everywhere I go.

PHILOSOPHY

I feel that everything happens for a reason. God is always looking out for us.
I think that the more people we meet and the more experiences we have in life, the better people we become. Experiences shape who we are. I believe that life is meant to me lived...as long as you positively influence others, you can never die.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As I stated before, I love to travel, so I am mostly interested in surfing - more than hosting-mainly for the reason that I am not going to be home on most weekends. But, if I am home, I would like to host people as well. I love surfing with great people who know a lot about the country they are in, and who know awesome places to go.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfing has been awesome so far. I surfed in Paris with a cool guy who was actually a clown in the circus. He took us out with his friends, and he made us feel right at home. I also surfed in Germany with a great guy- he was so welcoming and fun. My couchsurfing experience so far has been really cool.

I love just being around people. I love to meet new people, travel, and go out. I am also interested in improving my French- I love the French language and culture. I also like learning about different cultures and traditions.
I love American football, particularly the LSU Tigers and New Orleans Saints. I also follow basketball whenever I can- I used to play when I was in high school.
I love playing drinking games with friends, going to pubs, traveling, watching movies, learning from others, and chilling out.
I love going to concerts, and I make it a priority to see my favorite bands if they are playing near me.

I love classic rock. The Beatles is my all time favorite band- followed by Fleetwood Mac, Led Zepplin, The Eagles, Lynyrd Skynrd, Stevie Wonder, Van Morrson, DMB, Steve Miller Band- I could go on forever :) I am constantly amazed with the influential power that music has over generations.
My favorite movies are Now and Then, Home Alone 1 and 2, Forrest Gump, The Shawshank Redemption, The Sandlot, Dumb and Dumber, Sister Act, Wedding Crashers, etc. I love romantic comedies, comedies, and thrillers.
The Sound and the Fury and To Kill a Mockingbird are two of my favorite books- also Chelsea Handler's My Horizontal Life haha. I love Faulkner and Grisham, and pretty much any good book based in the South.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I have seen a close friend of mine go through it all- divorce, death, pain, heartbreak. She rose above it all and continued to live her life- for herself and for the people she loved. Nothing could stop her. She is truly and amazing person, and I try to be more like her everyday.

I like meeting people from different places who have had different experiences than me. I also like meeting people that are similar to me. People that have their own life philosophies, people who have traveled, people that are enjoying life.
