HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to make the most of the gloriously free time I have from August 27th to September 22nd 2014 by travelling - destinations undecided.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed in Bristol, UK, a few years ago with a 'veteran' friend. She is now mountain biking through South America, inspiring me to get involved with the community again.

Having only experienced the grey, low-visibility wilderness of the wintery south coast of England, I would love to scuba dive somewhere a little more colourful. I also love to ride horses, and am learning archery - if one day I can gallop around with bow in hand, that'd be fantastic.

Creating many (hopefully delicious) dishes is another favourite hobby, I am always looking to learn more.

I also love live music, wildlife and the outdoors (including camping).

Eclectic, but I really like thriller fiction and non-fiction (science, philosophy), music wise - rock and metal, but always best when live. I watch a wide range of movies, typically like psychological thrillers and mystery plots the most.

Seeing three lionesses up close, well camouflaged in the Ngorongoro Crater, Tanzania, was amazing!

Well, I play the oboe and the cello and would be happy to coach others if they would like. Also, horse riding though I don't have a horse.. :-)
