ABOUT ME

I love to meet people and hear about the places they've been, what they've done and what they want to do.
Like everyone else on CouchSurfers, I love to travel. I've lived in some very different places in the past few years and I've really enjoyed them all. I am going to study photojournalism next year, and hopefully this will be a career with which I can keep traveling.
I like to see places from the points of view of people who know them well, but I also like to go out and get my own impressions.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I'm not living in my own place, so unfortunately I have no couch to surf, but I look forward to the time when I'm able to host. I've had some unforgettable experiences meeting people all over the world and I couldn't refuse to do the same for someone else when I'm able.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've used CouchSurfing a few times now, and have met some of the most amazing people. I've made some unforgettable friends who I'll definitely be seeing again sometime!

Interests

I love photography, and I like to be able to look back on a picture and remember exactly what a place was like.
I've been horseback riding for my whole life, I love snowboarding, climbing, hiking. I used to do jazz and ballet, kickboxing, figure skating, football, piano. In Malawi, where I've lived for a year now, I like to go sailing and scuba diving. I went surfing once in the Islas Canarias and loved it, and I've been gliding in Segovia which was amazing. I like to try new sports or things I've never done before.

A few of my favourite books are the Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett, A Long Way Gone by Ishmael Beah, the Wisdom of Whores by Elizabeth Pisani, the Old Man and the Sea by Ernest Hemingway, and Three Cups of Tea by Greg Mortenson

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've ridden my horse amongst a herd of zebra and wildebeest and been chased by a giraffe in the same day.
