Like most people here, I love to travel (live to travel?). Meeting new people and experiencing a place through a local's perspective is my favourite way to do so. I am a big yes-person so I'm always up for activities and adventures; hiking, camping, cooking, beach days, boating, galleries, I'll do it all. Food is another of my favourite ways to experience a place so I'm always looking for restaurant / cafe / market recommendations, recipes, new things to try.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've had unforgettable experiences meeting people all over the world through Couchsurfing. I consider it an amazing privilege to be welcomed into someone's home and treated like family. I have become close friends with several people I've met here and hope to continue to make connections around the world!

Interests

Outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, cycling, horseback riding. I've surfed in the Canary Islands (not well), been gliding in Segovia, taken horseback safaris with herds of zebra and antelope in Malawi. Always looking to add to the list.

Experiencing local cuisine, trying things that are new to me, finding a favourite bakery or wine bar.

I like to keep records of my trips through photography as it's a nice way to bring back memories and fight the post-travel blues.
