关于我
ABOUT ME
I grew up in the rural south, the daughter of a cattle farmer. My mother hammered out country gospel on the piano in our Southern Baptist Church. When I take people to the place I grew up most of them can't believe that I came from that. It seems only natural to me. I developed a creative sense of wonder about the world around me. Today...I draw, paint, sew, sculpt, tinker, collect, read, pay attention to the little things. I love teaching children. I'm constantly reminded of how adults develop into themselves. If the environment is lacking, it has to be transformed into a place with a better view.
PHILOSOPHY
A friend of mine just said to me that if we don't share our gifts with the world then we are wasting them. I've considered myself to be a genuine giver when it comes to kindness, care, and compassion. But I'd like put more effort into the sharing of art forms and information about how art develops from everyday life.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I just joined the CS Project. I would love to become a host. However at the present time I'm moving. I think this is a great network. There's no better way to learn about a new place then meet the people that live there. Traveling should not be this burden of expense. People need to experience the world in order to understand it. I hope to be able to surf a few couches before I return to the classroom in the fall.
