About Me

CURRENT MISSION

What's out there in the big wide world?

ABOUT ME

I am a little lost and a little confused and a little joyous and a little melancholy, and sometimes I'm alone in a crowd of strangers, and sometimes (maybe at the same time) I'm embracing my dearest friends. I will always keep my empathy for others, my love of learning, and my desire to make others happy. I love beautiful sights and delicious smells and the feel of early morning sunshine. I think longingly of green vegetables. I sometimes wonder, what is my purpose? And then I remember that I can generate one for myself any time I want to.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that we live our lives within self-constructed walls. Walls aren't necessarily bad, but I try to be conscious of the walls I erect for myself. What seems like absolute reality may be just my story of reality. If I tell myself that something is so, I might make it true for myself--but it doesn't HAVE to be that way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've mostly interacted with friends' couchsurfers. Though I did go couchsurfing once in Flagstaff Arizona, on the way to the Grand Canyon. That was awesome. I love just being with people in a casual home, eating pudding made from avocadoes, and then going out to see one of their favorite hometown bars for an hour or two.
