I'm Emily! I was born in the USA, but I am currently living and working in Hangzhou, China. I teach art and chemistry at a high school here, and am always learning more about everything I don't know. Meeting new people is definitely the best way to learn new things, I feel.

After work, I stay busy with learning Mandarin, painting, watching movies, and going out to restaurants with friends. On the weekends, I love spending time outdoors and at museums. You are more than welcome to join me!

I rented an apartment with a spare bedroom with the intention of having frequent guests! I am looking to fill the extra space with stories and memories from fellow travelers. Additionally, I want to become more confident in traveling to other cities, knowing that it won't be hard to find like-minded people wherever I end up!
