CURRENT MISSION

My current mission generally speaking is to enjoy life, explore the world and create positive change when i can.

ABOUT ME

I grew up in Minnesota but have lived in several places. In the states I have lived in Massachusetts, Washington D.C, Los Angeles, briefly in Alaska, Minnesota and most recently in NYC. I spend all my money on traveling, cause well you only live once right :) I've traveled to over 20 countries and in 2013-2014 I lived in a village in the Czech Republic. I'm quite fond of Eastern Europe and am currently living in Budapest, Hungary, doing research and an internship.

PHILOSOPHY

My philosophy is to enjoy life while working for a more equal society. I travel for a couple reasons. First I love to travel because there are so many amazing people and places in the world. Also I think its important for people to travel because it expands our world views and encourages us to look at our own society differently.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here because I'm an avid traveler who enjoys meeting new people. I recently moved to Budapest, so if you want a "local" to show you around or get coffee/beer shoot me a message! I use quotation marks as I've only lived here for a couple weeks now :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My travel in Central America was definitely amazing. In college I spent a semester in Guatemala, El Salvador and Nicaragua studying history and politics. I spent 6 months there and also had the opportunity to travel to Honduras, Costa Rica and Panama.
