I like meeting new people. And love hosting. But you must love dogs, because Rosey sleeps inside.

ABOUT ME

I am 32yrs. Married. Husband lives on farm. Living in our house, due to tennants making big mess.
I had a severe accident in 2007, leaving me with brain injury. 4 years on, I get by.
Rose-Mary (puppy) is my daughter, companion, and my security. Plus my husband is very happy that I have a companion.
I don't have any children.
I am allowed to drive, but only around town.
I love to have fun, cause life is so short!

PHILOSOPHY

Life is so short, so take each moment and live for it! Capture each opportunity that comes your way, even the unexpected, cause we have no idea the outcome, but we will never know what we missed if we let it pass by.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would just love to host those who are travelling around. I have a 3 bedroom house, and hospitality is one of my joys in life. But don't take me for granted! Cause, i will bite!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted twice.
Brittany and Fiona
(Canadian's- going around New Zealand with Greenpeace). We chatted, and finding out they were staying in a "Wicked" van, I let them park on our driveway and sleep in the beds. Gave them a break from the van, lol.
The second visitors, Brittany & Fiona and Simon & Gabi(Brazillian). All Greenpeace members.
We had so much fun and got to understand cultures and interests plus Greenpeace projects.

I have been given a second chance at life. The doctors told my husband and family that I was either:-
1. Going to die (just weeks after my wedding)
2. I would be brain dead/ or severely sick with brain damage.
