ABOUT ME

I am friendly, easygoing, funny, and easy to get along with :) I have been studying Arabic in college, and I've lived all over the Middle East, specifically in Egypt and Tunisia. I am about to begin my Master's degree in Arab Studies.

Interests

I spend my time dancing! I love to swing dance, salsa dance, and blues dance. I also love to read and to learn new languages. I've been studying Arabic for 6 years now, and I can speak classical Fus7a pretty well, along with Egyptian 3miyya and Tounsi.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing view that I have seen was from the "Place of High Sacrifice" at Petra (Jordan). There's a reason that it is one of the ancient wonders. Also, the view of the mountains in Chenini (Tunisia) is gorgeous.

One of the most memorable experiences that I've had was getting stuck in the borders between Tunisia and Libya. I was trying to get into Libya for a reporting trip.
