ABOUT ME

I grew up in Saint Louis, Missouri and now live in Columbia, Missouri.
I love my degree program and can't wait to start traveling for the archaeology (one day I hope to be Indiana Jones). I haven't gotten the chance to travel much yet, but I'm sure I will one day.
I think I'm a pretty relaxed person, kind of shy at first, but fun once I get to know you a bit. I love to laugh and am smiling more often than not.
I love being outside and almost nothing makes me happier than relaxing in a park with friends and music.
I was supposed to go to Bulgaria this summer for an archaeological dig internship, but I broke my arm and can no longer go. :(

I am just getting started with CS. My friends got me into it because they're currently in Europe on people's couches and I wanted to discover such an amazing community!

Nothing besides helping some friends find places to surf.

Music, books, art, old things, school, being outside, traveling, friends, and family!
Some of my favorite things to do are reading (mostly historical fiction, sci-fi, and fantasy), going to concerts and music festivals, general outdoor activities (camping, hiking, rafting, floating...) partying with friends, listening to music, watching movies (mostly, action, sci-fi, or a mix of the both), going to bars, going to art museums, learning about history and art, and exploring new cities!

I'm kind of a dork and am pretty much in love with Harry Potter. I love Tolkien, Anita Diamant, and Jane Austen. Some favorite movies are Gangs of New York, MirrorMask, the new Star Trek, Across the Universe, Tombstone, and I harbor a guilty pleasure in watching cheesy Jane Austen movies.
Some musical loves include Tool, Deftones, Nine Inch Nails, Grateful Dead, Smashing Pumpkins, Perpetual Groove, Lamb, Portis Head, Bon Iver, and The Black Keys.
