ABOUT ME

I'm very curious and love to explore...ideas, places, new ways of doing things, new art forms...I've been very shy my whole life but wanted to change that, so I decided to come live in France and so far it has worked pretty well! I'm a little bit stubborn and independent (but maybe that's just because I'm American, who knows?)

Interests

I studied art at an environmental school and I love to make things...anything. Natural cosmetics, knit scarves, paintings, prints, pottery, Black & White photography (preferably doing all the chemistry myself), and book binding are a few of my current favorites, and I would like to start working with leather as well (like making shoes). I love to cook, eat, and grow food (but unfortunately can't eat wheat...not as bad as it sounds :)
I'm very interested in organic (biologique) agriculture and the environment.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The world is an amazing place.
1) Snowshoeing in the alps for the first time.
2) Seeing the Grand Canyon
3) Realizing that I could actually speak French enough to get by (I'd never really had a chance to try until I got here.)
