ABOUT ME

Hi I'm Emily an American Aupair living in Germany! I'm interested in couch surfing for the types of cultural exchange you get that you wouldn't find in a hotel. Now that I have a few couch surfing experiences I can truly say that it is better than any hotel experience. It always amazes me how generous and kind couchsurfers are...and how much they love american pancakes! :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In june I surfed with a fantastic Italian couple and their dog in Italy, after two days I felt like i was saying goodbye to friends! I think that's what couchsurfing is all about! Hope to pay their generosity forward soon! I've also surfed with a couple in Porto, who were extremely helpful and generous despite the hard economic times.

Interests

I ove to hike, bike, dance, ride horses, travel, explore, take pictures, find good coffee/food, go to any sort of sporting event.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hmmm, the most recent amazing thing I've done is move to Germany to be an Aupair. But really, I would have to say it was living in Brazil for 4 months with a Brazilian family. I still think of having a brazilian and an American family.
