ABOUT ME

I am an American college student currently studying abroad in the UK at the University of Bristol. I study biochemistry and I hope to get into a medical school so I can pursue my dreams of becoming a forensic pathologist. What is a forensic pathologist? Basically it's just a fancier way of saying I want to be a medical examiner or coroner. Most people freak out when you tell them you want to work with the dead, but for me I think I would enjoy solving the mystery as to why a person died and providing their family with some closure. On a lighter note, I am addicted to playing volleyball and I love watching most sports (except golf... just too slow for me). I also love being outside and one of my favorite places to be is sitting either on the dock or in a boat on a remote lake in Ontario, Canada.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that the reason humans exist is to bring joy and happiness to others. I also believe that there is good in every person, some just chose not to use it or even believe it exists.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am back in Bristol, England for exams but I can potentially host up until May 25th. I'll be traveling (and hopefully couchsurfing!) from the 1st of June until the 1st of July and then I'll be back home in the US, where I'll be able to host again.

Florence- Emanuele April 1st to the 3rd

Music, Movies, and Books

I'll watch just about any movie (yes even the bad crazy illogical ones). I'm not picky when it comes to music so I pretty much listen to anything. I'm addicted to books so much that as a child I was often grounded from reading.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've survived a month long road trip with my family to Alaska and back in a cramped motor home.
