ABOUT ME

I love making new memories while traveling--the sorts of memories I never would have made in an ordinary, day-to-day life. I relish slow days--late breakfasts, spending time with my love, venturing out into the world rested, full of energy, with a full stomach and a fuller heart. My life has taken me to many unexpected places. Teaching (something I never anticipated doing) has made me feel productive in a way that no other job could have--helping kids that may not have been helped otherwise, pursuing a job that actually makes a difference, a difference I could see first-hand. Teaching is probably the best thing I've done in this life, the best thing that ever happened to me. I am moving on to other things now, to different countries and perhaps a new career. I miss my students immensely, but I am excited to see what comes next.
