Hi! My name is Emily. I definitely inherited the travel bug and the love for learning about new cultures. I studied anthropology in college and now work as a nutrition educator. I have a passion for community engagement and meeting others. This extends to traveling! I am always up for good food and walking for hours to find the perfect people watching spot. I am also just as eager to hike up a mountain or jump in an ice cold lake!

I spent 7 months in rural Malawi teaching at a Mountain View School for the Deaf. This experience definitely taught me to beauty of stepping outside of your comfort zone, traveling alone and being less wasteful.
