Why I’m on Couchsurfing
This mindset first hit me during my very first year of university, right after watching Into The Wild for the first time.
The moment the film ended, I found myself asking: "What am I still waiting for?"
It’s been 8 years since I asked that question — and honestly, I haven't moved much since.
But I’ve realized that there's no point in dwelling on regrets.
So now, I’m doing something about it.
I don’t know where I’m going, when I’ll get there, or exactly how — but I do know I’m finally hitting the road.
And for a beginning, that’s more than enough.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once hitchhiked through 9 different vehicles to reach the start of the ancient Lycian Way in southern Turkey — all on a random morning when I decided to pack my backpack out of the blue.
I then walked alone for 10 days along this stunning coastal trail, surrounded by silence, nature, and ruins older than most countries.
It turned out to be more than just a hike — it was a journey of solitude, freedom, and truly meeting myself.
What I Can Share with Hosts
First of all, I want you to know that we’re going to have a great and positive time together — that's always my intention.
I'm naturally curious, but when that curiosity meets new people, new cultures, and new environments, it really comes alive.
I love learning, but I also make a point of sharing what I’ve learned in return. Whether it’s stories, ideas, or skills, I believe good conversations are mutual.
