I’m originally from Indonesia and currently living in the U.S. for graduate study. I enjoy meaningful conversations, cultural exchange, and getting to know people beyond the usual small talk. I’m curious about how people live, think, and make sense of the world, which is also part of why I enjoy traveling this way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For me, Couchsurfing has never been just about finding a place to stay. I’ve been using it since 2017, and what I value most is the human side of travel. While many people prefer hotels and privacy, I enjoy meeting people, hearing their stories, and sharing a small part of life with locals.

I like travel that feels personal, not just touristic. Sometimes the best part of a trip is not the landmark, but the conversation at the end of the day.
