ABOUT ME

I am an open minded person who enjoys getting to know new people and increase the knowledge about other nations and cultures. I am not at home very often because I meet friends for a drink or other activities.
If you want to know more about me and my personal life, do not hesitate to write me a message and ask whatever you would like to know. However, do not be surprised if I ask back, because it is boring to just reveal information about myself without getting to know others!

PHILOSOPHY

I try to enjoy my life as much as possible. While doing this, I am always looking for a meaningful contribution that I can give to society and have the feeling that I found something that I can do for living: Scientific research.
I am a pacifist, trying to solve every problem without using force or violence. I my eyes, there is nothing that can not be talked about by intelligent people who are looking for a solution that suits both sides of the conflict. In this sense, it is very important to try to understand the arguments of your "opponent" in the conflict.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just started to be part of this community, but I really like the whole concept behind it as I understood it so far.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far, I did not host anybody myself or used the couch of somebody in the community. However, I heard from many friends who did it (both hosting and being guest) and liked what they were telling me about it.

Intereses

I am interested in getting to know new people, going out with friends, soccer, computers (mac) and neurosciences.

Movies: There are several good ones, eg: Lord of the Rings, Inception and many more
Music: more or less everything with a nice sound, depending on the mood... However, Reggae/Dancehall is always good!
Books: historical novels, preferably by Bernard Cornwell

I have the feeling my whole life so far was quite amazing, right now, I can not specify any specific thing that was so outstanding to mention it here...
