CURRENT MISSION

Well, I would like to see my Master's papers within a year :D Other than that, I'd like to have fun and travel!

ABOUT ME

I'm easily talked to spend an evening at a local pub and I can be easily persuaded (no persuasion needed really) to participate in outdoor activities. My sense of humour is a little on the dark side but in general I'm easy to get along with. I'm a Finn, and they say that we are a little cold to people we don't know. That's true to some extent, I don't sit next to strangers in a bus if there are free seats available :D But other than that, I'd say I'm your average student - easy to talk to.

Interessen

Reading, sailing, canoeing, scouting, traveling, hiking, biking, winter swimming etc. I'm pretty much interested in outdoor stuff even if I'm not an athlete, and if possible, I'll gladly show you around in Turku wildlife :D

Musik, Filme und Bücher

With music I listen to pretty much anything. For some reason I like a lot of bands that I have no idea what they are singing because I don't know the language. With movies...I prefer comedy and dark humour over thrillers etc. Literature...I guess this means for fun? Otherwise I'd say biochemistry journals but for fun I like to read fantasy and manga!

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I guess whilst working at a summer camp in Pennsylvania was probably the most memorable one for me, but I do take most of my sailing trips to heart as well, since usually they are in the Turku Archipelago or near it, and the experience is always refreshing.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

We could go canoeing, hiking and biking. There are amazingly beautiful hiking trails and places to go near Turku, and going there is not a problem! I have a canoeing instructor licence (took the course in the US whilst working there at a scout camp) and I have been a sea scout for over 15 years.
