About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To experience new places and day dream of the old ones.

ABOUT ME

I got the travel bug in 2003 (so to speak). Packed up my apartment and left for Europe on a 1 month backpacking trip; I didn't return for 3 years. I believe it's important to be open minded when traveling and not to let opportunities pass you by. I have since settled down, so to speak, in Vancouver and am loving the city. I'm always discovering some cool new pub or event in and around the city.

PHILOSOPHY

Don't take yourself or life too seriously.

Be yourself and not what society tells you to be.

"Don’t waste your time on jealousy; sometimes you’re ahead, sometimes you’re behind…the race is long, and in the end, it’s only with
yourself." Baz Luhrmann

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would love to host but unfortunately am not able to at the moment. But if anyone is in the area, I would be happy to play tour guide or go for a drink.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My friend introduced me to CS when we went on a trip to Seattle, WA and stayed with a CS host there. It was great to have suggestions on where to go and how to get there from a local. It was such a good experience that I decided to join!
