My partner Patrick and I are a couple from Australia, who have recently moved to London for a working holiday.
I am a primary school teacher and Patrick is a chemical engineer. We both have a passion for travelling and learning more about the world and the people in it.

We would love to see as much of the world as we can before we head back to Australia and meet new people along the way. Couchsurfing would allow us to understand different cultures and ways of living in different parts of the world.
I also feel like you can learn a lot more about a place and how people live there when you can talk to a local and ask questions.

Emma:
I like most music. My favourite band is Imagine Dragons.
So many great movies, but I really like Lord of the Rings, Guardians of the Galaxy, The Matrix, Star Wars, Gladiator, Disney movies, the Notebook and so many more.
I love reading! Here are some favourites: Harry Potter, The power of one, The brain's way of healing, To Kill a Mockingbird, The curious incident of the dog in the night time.

Patrick:
I enjoy watching movies and tv shows. My favourite genre is comedy.

Emma:
I taught in a school with over 20 different languages and supported refugee students from Syria, Afghanistan and various African countries. Very rewarding.

Patrick:
We have been fortunate to travel to some amazing places in the past few years. Some of my favourite places include Lauterbrunnen - Switzerland, Budapest - Hungary, Tokyo - Japan, Queenstown - New Zealand.

Patrick
I am interested in so many different things and love to learn about new things. I like to keep up to date with the latest news. I enjoy many different sports. I am also interested in the latest technology such as drones and computers.
