I have just returned from travelling around South America, on return to the UK I decided to move to Winchester from sunny Plymouth for a job. I have been here almost a week and am keen to starting meeting people to socialise with!
I can't host at the moment, as I've moved in to a flat with someone else, but I plan to move to my own apartment and I'll be able to host then. Winchester is around 50 minutes away from London on the train and is absolutely beautiful. It's also next to lots of gorgeous ports, like Southampton and Portsmouth which both have fabulous museums and things to explore.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I initially used Couchsurfing when travelling and found it really useful, now I'm using in Winchester to make new friends again!
At the moment I am travelling on my own, so it's nice to stay with people who understand the cities I visit and can give me good advice on where to explore, I hope to make new friends wherever I go :)

Interests

I'm learning how to crochet (I even brought it with me), but I also own a little business that makes homemade cosmetics and tasty treats, so a lot of my time is spent making new concoctions. Travelling is fairly new hobby, but something I plan to continue long, long, long in to the future!
I love, love, love cooking and learning new recipes. Yum!
This year is a Challenge Year for me (where you set challenges you wouldn't normally do) and my most recent one is completing Tough Mudder! (Google it of you aren't sure what it is 😂)

Music, Movies, and Books

Eclectic taste in music, from teen pop to Frank Sinartra, I love Latin music that gets my toes tapping. If you dance salsa - I will definitely want to tag along to some classes or dance.
Favourite movies & books always change with my mood, I watched Big Hero 6 recently and it was bloody funny!

My English is pretty good! I'm also a dap hand at various crafts (like knitting, or making lip balms!).
I'd love to learn a bit more Swedish, perhaps work on my accent!
And a share in culture and knowledge would be wonderful.
