I'm Emma :)
I'm a french student going to New Zealand for 5 months for my studies. I'm studying at ESTRI ( a school and translation and international relation ) in Lyon. We spend the second semestre of the first year in an English Speaking country (we have to stay at least 3 months) I'm funny (sometimes), I'm really open minded... I probably look like I'm shy at first sigh but I can adapt myself quickly :) I love adventures, long stories, discovering new things...

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I really like travelling and discover new landscapes and people all over the world. I'm easy to live (well i hope you'll agree :) ) I like sharing point of view, experiences or anything which can be shared. On top of that I won't be distrubed if you're snoring when sleeping :)
As you'll probably notice in my description (if you read it ahah) I do quiet a lot a mistakes in english and I guess that crashing at locals would be the most efficient way to get rid of my mistakes !

音乐、电影和书籍

I like all kind of music, especially when it is a mix of several musical influences, I also listen to african traditionnal (or current) music.
I like movies when I do a strange surprised face at the end (like oh, wait... )
I don't read so much books even if I have an A level in literature :) Most of books I read were adviced by friends of mine.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I think that the most amazing thing I've done was my solidarity project in Senegal. It was back 2 years ago. I went there with a group of friends and met a groupe of senegalese people (we had planed the project all together) We stayed there about 1 month. Our main occupations during the stay was to build a new roof for a primary school (situated in a disavantaged area) because the former roof wasn't efficient so that the water could flow into the classrooms when the rain was pouring... We also organised games at afternoons for the children of the disctrict. I learn a lot from this experience, both from sharing two different cultures and also from the children!

我可以与沙发主分享些什么

I spend some times in Africa (as my father was cameroonian) so I kind of learn about the culture, the habits and ... the cooking ! So if you're really brave and if you don't fear to get poisoned, I can try to cook you a recipe of my grandma :)
