I grew up in a small town on the Oregon coast and then spent eight years in Eugene, Oregon. I have been using seasonal work as a means to travel, though the Pacific Northwest will always be home.

Currently in Denali National Park, Alaska managing a coffee shop in a resort hotel and working at a photo studio.

I originally joined couchsurfing to find hosts to stay with while my friend and I were traveling from Northern Michigan to New Orleans. I love the idea of being able to have a host in an unknown place with the benefit of traveling inexpensively.
