Hey there everyone! My name is Emma and I live in a town called Oak Park, which is just outside of Chicago and is easily accessible by train or car. I am a college student studying Social Work at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign and am on my third year. This spring semester I will be studying abroad in Leuven, Belgium, so I hope to travel all around Europe :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think it is an awesome way to meet new people. I hope todevelop relationships that will last a lifetime. I think immersing yourself in another culture and seeing and getting to know a town through the locals is the best way possible!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went rafting through the Colorado River at the bottom of the Grand Canyon. It was so much fun and the scenery was beautiful. We even got taken to the top in a helecopter!

What I Can Share with Hosts
